Welcome

The Board of Directors of Coldspring Community Association is pleased to have you as a member. This Guidebook was created to ensure that your summer here is safe and enjoyable. Please read it thoroughly and keep it handy.

Who is in charge?

Heather Boos, the pool manager, oversees activities in and around the pool. The lifeguards report to her. Please follow her instructions and report any concerns you have to her.

What are the qualifications of the staff?

All pool operators are certified by the American Red Cross as lifeguards and trained in AED/CPR/First Aid and emergency preparedness.

Access to Pool & Tennis Facilities

Members and guests enter the pool through the side gate. You must be a member or registered guest to use the pool or tennis facilities. We will hold all membership and resident registration cards at the entrance desk. Guests must sign in.

Can my children swim on their own?

Children under the age of 15 will not be admitted to the pool without a supervising adult age 18 or older, unless approved by the pool manager. One adult may supervise a maximum of four children. Children who pass the manager's test may enter the water alone.

Will swim lessons be available?

Not available for the 2024 season

For safety and the consideration of others

1. No alcoholic beverages are permitted on pool grounds.
2. No smoking or vaping within pool enclosure or around the

tennis courts. Please use the designated smoking area.

3. Profane language will not be tolerated.
4. Lap swimmers only in lap lane. No playing in the lap lane.

5. Use of flotation devices, flippers, goggles, diving rings are

allowed at the Staff’s discretion.
6. Please use earphones for radios and other audio equipment.

7. Quiet on the tennis courts during early morning and late

evening hours.
8. No pets in the pool area.
9. Beach balls only may be used on grassy area. No other sports

balls permitted inside the pool area.
10. No biking or skating in pool area.
11. No running, horseplay, or hanging on the ropes.
12. Cut-offs, shorts, and diapers are not allowed in the pool.

Swimming suits are the appropriate attire. Only swim diapers

with tight-fitting pants are permitted for children in either pool.

13. Please park your vehicle in the circle or on Yellowwood or

Tamarind Rds. All other areas are tow-away zones.

Failure to comply with pool rules or instructions from the pool staff will not be tolerated and may result in your removal from the club.

Can I bring my friends?

Certainly! The guest fee is $5.00. Children age three and under are admitted free. *Guest passes can be purchased by check only for $45 or $25.Guests are your responsibility and may use the facilities only while you are present.

Can I have a pool party?

Yes. You may have a party for your 3-15-year-old child during the hours the pool is open to the general membership, we will reserve space on the grassy area for you. All guests must pay the guest fee whether they choose to swim or not. Please schedule with the manager at least 7 days in advance at 443-804-8876.

Food?

The Pool Side café is open to serve you, or you may bring food from home. Eating is restricted to the tables near the concession stand or at the picnic tables. No glass or other breakable containers of any kind are permitted on club property. Metal cans are not permitted in or near the pools. The Cafe is not available for the 2024 season.
